Travel and lodging are not included in the $350 workshop registration fee.

Workshop attendees should make their own travel and lodging arrangements.

Lodging            

The Dayton Marriott is the official hotel of the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop and is located 3/4 of a mile from campus -- about two-minutes. Many workshop events will take place at the Marriott. Shuttle buses to the UD campus are only available from the Marriott. A limited number of rooms are available. Get the special $104 room rate.

Attendees can take a Charter Van from the Dayton Airport to the Dayton Marriott. Their dispatch office is located in the baggage claim area by luggage carousel #1. Call 937-898-4043 to make a reservation or visit www.chartervans.com.

Driving to the workshop

If you are an attendee driving to the workshop, you'll need to park in the lot next to the Marriott Hotel and take our free shuttle bus to campus.  Get driving directions to the Marriott.
