Travel and lodging are not included in the workshop registration fee.
Workshop attendees should make their own travel and lodging arrangements.
Lodging
The Dayton Marriott is the official hotel of the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop and is located 3/4 of a mile from campus -- about two-minutes. Many workshop events will take place at the Marriott. Shuttle buses to the UD campus are only available from the Marriott. A limited number of rooms are available. Get the special $114 room rate. Be sure to book the correct dates for your stay.
Flying to Dayton (Dayton International Airport)
The nearest major airport to the conference site is the Dayton International Airport. Major airports in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, are within a 90-minute drive.
Ground transportation
Attendees can take a Charter Van from the Dayton International Airport to the Dayton Marriott. Their dispatch office is located in the baggage claim area by luggage carousel #1. Call 937-898-4043 to make a reservation or visit www.chartervans.com.
