Agents) and Bruce Cameron (New York Times best-selling author and syndicated humor columnist). The cost of the workshop will be $249, which includes six keynote speakers,
27 breakout sessions from which to pick, two continental breakfasts, two lunches and a networking party.

Registration for the 2004 writers' workshop will open in September. You'll be notified through this newsletter.

Keep writing...and hope to see you in March 2004!

COMEDY WORLD MOURNS DEATH OF JOHN CANTU

John Cantu was one of the great comedy teachers of our time. We were members of the same online discussion group for humor writers and I always found his comments
insightful and right on the money. John died of cancer last month. According to an article in the San Francisco Chronicle, "Eulogists got exactly 2 1/2 minutes to tell mourners what a great fellow John Cantu was, before a man with a flashlight began shining it in their eyes."
