~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are many similarities between the first flight 100
years ago and the experience of flying today. For instance,
the Wright brothers served the same meal that I got on my
last flight -- nothing.
The 100th anniversary of flight can mean only one thing --
the 100th anniversary of flight humor. To celebrate, we
created a Web site where you can submit your humorous
stories and jokes about flying. There's no cost to enter
and prizes will be awarded. Fly over to the site right now
-- http://www.flighthumor.org
Also, if you've written a funny column about flying, send
me the link and I might add it to the site.
Keep writing!
Tim Bete Humor columnist (http://www.timbete.com) and
co-director, Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop
(http://www.HumorWriters.org)
P.S. Feel free to forward this newsletter to all your
writer friends.
